PRINTING

Western Container Company offers a perfect blend of printing press formats to meet any of your requirements. From large runs to quick turnaround jobs, our 3 presses can handle all of your needs. We are equipped to print simple 1 color jobs all the way up to 7 colors plus aqueous coating, and in addition have in-house UV coating capabilities. Along with the experience and dedication of our people, Western Container can offer faster make-readies and increased run speeds. DIE-MAKING

The dedication to service continues with our in house die making capabilities. Our die-making department uses only the most technically advanced and up-to-date materials available such as, maple board, cutting rule, creasing rule and other specialized die supplies. In addition to the materials, our die maker also receives a plotted vinyl and a customer-approved sample that is produced from the same CAD generated file to match the laser burned die board insuring quality and precision. The completed die will surpass the most demanding criteria of the folding carton industry. With the expertise and technical support from our vendors we can consistently produce superior dies. (top)

DIE-CUTTING

At Western Container, we use the most up-to-date die cutting technology to insure our customers the highest quality. With our pre-make-ready table, we can set up any job off press. Using a CAD plotted vinyl to set the pins of the top and bottom stripping frames; we significantly reduce our on press make-ready time. Our multiple die cutters in house offer the flexibility to quickly move from one job to the next and also push “HOT” orders through in unprecedented times. (top)

FINISHING

Western Container’s finishing department is equipped with the most up-to-date gluers and window machines in the industry. We have the capabilities of gluing a vast array of folding cartons designs to suit your specific packaging needs, and at speeds up to 100,000 pieces per hour (depending on the complexity of your folding carton design). Again, our vast array of gluers and window machines can get your project through our facility quickly and efficiently. (top)

CCWB - Clay Coated Whiteback	Smooth board with white top and white to off-white back.
CCNB - Clay Coated Newsback	Smooth board with white top and gray to brown back.
CCKB - Clay Coated Kraftback	Heavy duty board with white top and brown back.
Solid Kraft	Very strong board, brown throughout, with smoother top.
Bending Chip - 100% Recycled materials	Similar to Solid Kraft but with coarser printing surface and less strength.
